What started out with three members(Dave, Ron and Bryan) was eventually joined by Emil in mid-2007 and Aki in early 2009. Each member's musical influences, theories and styles were mashed up and is the product of what Faintlight's music came to be. When asked how to describe their music the band simply says it's a touch of their old roots with a new profound sound and style.
