About Me: It all started with Enzo Cabayan spotting Paolo Racho in a studio nearby their school, CSB. Since then, they have become friends and both expressed their longing to be in a band together. Enzo, an avid follower of heavily-distorted music, started brainstorming and tagged Mike Arce-Ignacio to be his wingman on the strings. Mike’s house became shelter for Enzo’s new vision. Joma Fernandez, Enzo’s high school classmate and long time music affiliate, agreed to do bass duties. Marb Sayson, coming from a musician’s hiatus, was icing on the cake as Enzo asked him to try jamming in one of their practices. And then, the rest was history – a group of five music aficionados who simply want to have fun with noise. While they’re not busy studying, the boys of Kuwago enjoy each other’s company. In road trips, these guys take turns on the iPod and desecrate silence with different types of music – from classic, gritty metal, post-hardcore acts from the Philippines to the States, 90’s rap metal, all the way to modern, nu-metal and progressive music. The recording of “Sin Is Crouching At Your Door” was a fruitful experience for the band. It was recorded last August 2008, when the band realized that it would help lift their rising career. Kuwago went cherry-picking with studios first, then chose Beef Studios, knowing that their type of music was its expertise. The recording can now be heard at http://www.myspace.com/kuwagomusic .
