“Less noise, more bounce.” So much in a few words, RJ Quizon the bassist describes their band’s music. Dale Asis and Jay San Vicente on guitars; Brent on percussions; Lloyd on drums; and front man Born, completes the group known as Monoacid.
What kept them intact was their fixation and endless admiration for their individual influences; Mutiny, Sound, FrancisM among others. Foreign artist that had the same effect include; The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Incubus, Incognito, Foreplay, Raw Stylus, James Taylor Quartet and Jamiroquai. What brings them today is the allure of working together and creating what they truly love: music. The MONOACID bounce is their infectious music wanting to be shared to others.
