The Band was formed in March 2010 when PJ Payumo sent a text message to Jason Chase Caunan asking him if he would like to form a band. Prior to this, PJ was the bassist for the band “SAVED”, and a drummer for ‘GABEEL”. His stint with “GABEEL” ended when his sister Karen, Gabeel’s vocalist, left for the States. Jason Chase was then vocalist/Guitarist for the pseudo- metal band “Cainji”, and it was through TJ Aquino, “Cainji”s lead guitarist, that the two met via a jam session, and after a week, the band “CHASE” was formed.
