CHICOSCI officially formed back in 2000, when vocalist Miguel Chavez, guitarists Mong Alcaraz, and Sonny Baquisal, bassist Carlos Calderon, and drummer Joel Salvador all decided to join (and win) an interschool Battle of the Bands. Since then, CHICOSCI’s career has gone from an after-school activity to a full-time profession. The first two albums Revenge of the Giant Robot (2001) and Method of Breathing (2002) were released under major label EMI Philippines.
