About OREMUZ
Oremuz
The Word OREMUZ was Derived from the Latin word Oremus which means , “Let us pray”, used by a person on a high religious Christian position, in delivering a mass.
MISSION
"And thou shall Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. And the second is like, namely this, Thou shall love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these."

OBJECTIVES
1.To Warn Men and Women regarding the Deception of Roman Catholic Church.
2.To express our culture and ourselves.
3.To Share our knowledge and information regarding Gothic Christianity.
4.To Justify our Beliefs.
5.To unite different worlds and to REVEAL the REAL MEANING of CHRISTIANITY.
6.To Define the TRUE meaning of LOVE.
7.To DIE for The Christ.
It all started on May 2004...Rams Aquino,Ronell Lanuza and Debi Mendez found themselves seeking for the same goal,it was to form a band.November came and they were able to complete their lineup and there goes Ronell Lanuza and Chris Vasquez on vocals,Rams Aquino and Jeff Robles on guitars,Marvin Barayuga on bass, Erika Anne Flores on keyboards and finally Edzel Gavina on drums.
Then,at Liwasang Bayan Ng Cainta "Rock Fest"on December 11,2004 they had their "baptism of fire"(first appearance) with their first 3 original compositions: "Melody Of Sanctimony", "Cold And Dark" and "Hades".
A month later which opens the following year, each member face their own problems and decided to quit the band, leaving Rams and Ronell to pursue but with great persistence to search for a new members.
February 2005,they both decided to let Rams teach Russel Jean to play the bass guitar,whose a close friend and a fan of the band since they were just starting.They were also able to compose 3 additional songs:"Faust","Funeral March" and "Phantom's Play".
April 2005 another trial came for Rams and Ronell.Due to strictly family matters mixed with frustration Ronell also have to leave the band.Leaving Rams behind but still with great determination and faith,on that same month Rams formed the second complete lineup.This time it's Gay Chavez and Shekaina Gabitanan on vocals, Rams Aquino and Rainier Francisco on guitars, Russell Jean Gabitanan on bass lastly Mico Lirio on drums.
The ball of destiny finally rolled up again for OREMUZ. Their first real performance was a success at BRANNIGAN's (now A-VENUE) located at Timog Ave. then continous gigs were achieved in various areas in Metro Manila and even in provinces. And perhaps because of such great succession of good events another test came. Rainier left the band to join "BLuE BOY BITES BACK".But blessed enough that Stephen De Leon came to replace him.
November 2005, they found their Melodic Synth through Gretchen Encarnacion to emphasize the soul of thier music through keyboards.But then again, being so blessed with trials, the first downfall of OREMUZ broke out.The band decided to pull Mico out,transiently replacing him with a sessionist named Jeff Lectura.
May 2006, after a year of struggles, Rams was awaken and found out the "root of all cause" so he decided to pull it out himself. Before the month end, Pearl Munar came and take the place of Gay Chavez.Following months Jeff Lectura can no longer play for the band so Arvien "Abs" Encina also came to join OREMUZ permanently as a drummer. Like Jeff, Gretchen decided to quit because of her studies.
Late September 2006, from the band Vermis and Legion of Satyr, Paul "Pong" Katigbak was found playing keyboards. Oremuz invited him to join the band and take hold as the Nightmare Synth. Abigail Sarthou came as a sessionist vocals for Pearl.
October-December 2006, the band recorded their first EP album. Shekaina left the band to pursue her studies but immediately reinstate by Jamaica Caraig and Treah Nezza Yumang replaced Pearl.Stephen De Leon was also having so many priorities and was not able to do his responsibilities in the band.
June 2007 the band completed their latest line-up...
Treah and Jam on vocals, Rams and Lovel on guitars, Russel Jean and Keetrina Jean on Bass, Pong on Keyboards and Abs on drums.
Last September 22, 2007 They Won as the 2nd Placer World Battle of the Bands Philippines Division held at Amoranto Theater...Before the year 2007 ended Trea Decided to quit because of some family matters. Trea was replaced by Sensi. Her first appearance was on January 5, 2008 at the Rakista's Rakrakan Series 6 held at Dayo Bar...

"We really can't perceive what will happen to our band, tomorrow or even in the following days.As we can see, and for those who witness, the come and goes and the ups and down,there is only one thing for sure.That OREMUZ will stay and live to tell the story. Because we want to prove and embark into the minds of those who listens to our melody, Oremuz will live till the end of time...For we are against the Hypocrites that dwells in our scene today...For we are against Christianity that is fake and dividing us apart...And we are Against the self-centered intentions which leads people to suffering and blinding faith."
