After a breakup from their former band, Randy, Joko and Ross decided to continue their musical endeavors and formed Shotgun Lōla. It was in this opportune moment that Carlo stepped in their studio that fateful night; their first ever jam. Thus, Shotgun Lōla was complete. Inspired by the German film Run Lola Run, their muse “Lōla” is the centerpiece and centerfold when it comes to writing music, as Grunge-alternative melodies are infused with nostalgic 70’s rock riffs. The influences of the band members range from Alice in Chains, Audioslave, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Temple of the Dog, Tool and the like. Currently, the band is recording their EP and playing at gigs such as in 6 Underground, 70s Bistro, Club Dredd, Mayrics, Purple Haze, RJ Bar, Route196, Saguijo, etc. Each has their own day jobs (Randy - Graphic Artist, Carlo - Architect, Joko - Middle School Teacher, and Ross - Sales) yet they still find the time to squeeze in some practices and gigs in their weeks. So enough said, just RAAAAAKENRRROLL Lolas!
